Dr. Michael Barton, DDS

Dr. Barton has always had a passion for dentistry. The first in his family to obtain a professional degree, Dr. Barton graduated from the UC San Francisco School of Dentistry in 1989.

After graduation, he joined the Indian Health Service and for three years provided dental care for residents living on reservations in Wyoming and Montana. This introduction to practicing dentistry formed the basis of his determination to provide all types of care with consistently high standards.

Opening his own dental office in 1992, Dr. Michael Barton and his team have provided quality dental care for Graeagle and the surrounding communities for over twenty years.

Just as the field of dentistry is always advancing, so too is his commitment to continuing education. Dr Barton is affiliated with numerous organizations like the ADA, CDA, NCDS and the ADIA. Dr. Barton believes that in order to maintain a flourishing business, his skill set must evolve. With the addition of orthodontics and implants to his list of services, he has expanded and grown with the needs and expectations of our community.

It is clear that Dr. Barton thoroughly enjoys being a dentist in this rural setting, valuing the personal relationships he has with his patients, the opportunity to help people, and the challenge of difficult cases. 

Dr. Barton is a large supporter of the community through his involvement with local Lions Club and Kindergarten Roundup, and donations to local charities.

In addition to his professional life, the area allows Barton to participate in his other interests such as golf, woodworking, hiking. and hunting.

He currently lives in this beautiful area with his wife Kathy, where they have raised their two daughters.
